Voice of America: Mirwais Abuldrahizmi, a former expatriot who has returned to Afghanistan, brought with him his love for Western food. His Kabul Fried Chicken, known as KFC, mimics the American KFC but serves kabobs and pizza alongside fried chicken.
According to Time, pirating of American fast-food chains is a growing trend in Afghanistan since potential franchisees find the start-up fees too costly.
