Andy's Frozen Custard to open 12th Kansas City location

Andy's Frozen Custard will open its 12th Kansas City store on March 1. A grand opening celebration will be held on March 24, according to a press release.

The custard and sweets shop will be located at 11220 Nall Avenue in Overland Park, Kansas, as part of a mixed-use space called Galleria 115 that includes residences, retail and entertainment.

Kansas City is the birthplace of owner and CEO Andy Kuntz and his family.

"My family and I spend a lot of time in Kansas City still, and want to make sure our ties remain strong," Kuntz said in the press release. "Galleria 115 is a world-class development, making it the perfect location for the World's Finest Frozen Custard. We are committed to continued investment in Kansas City, as we take great pride in putting 'grins above chins' by serving the most delicious frozen custard and treats."

Andy's operates 130 company-owned and franchised stores across 15 states.
