Arby's Restaurant Group buys 40 East Coast units

Arby's Restaurant Group Inc. has acquired 40 restaurants from franchisees Dan Soules and Mark Dunn of Grant Avenue Development Inc. The restaurants acquired by ARG are located in New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia, a news release said.

The purchase brings ARG's units to more than 1,100 in the U.S., with more than 3,400 system-wide in seven countries.

The release said that when and if appropriate, ARG will remodel the purchased units with the brand's new design, which features wood tones, white brick, subway tile, stainless steel, chalkboard graphics and upgraded lighting and landscaping.
