Auntie Anne's asks fans to choose 30th birthday flavor

Auntie Anne's is turning the big 3-0 and is asking customers to choose its newest flavor, which it will announce June 26 and serve as an LTO. The voting is being centered on the brand's dedicated "pretzelnationcreation" page of its website or on Twitter with the #pretzelnationcreation designation. 

The chain's social media pitch for birthday-inspired flavors in May generated more than 650 suggestions. The top 10 are the choices in this run-off for the best birthday flavor. They include: 

• Birthday Cake
• Caramel Apple Crème Brûlée
• Chocolate Coconut
• Chocolate-covered Cherry
• Cookies & Cream
• Cotton Candy
• Lemonade Cake
• Pineapple Upside Down Cake
• Red Velvet Cheesecake
• Tiramisu

In the most recent previous run-off of this kind last year, the chain tallied more than 1.3 million votes before naming the Sriracha pretzel as that year's LTO, according to the release.
