Auntie Anne’s flexes philanthropic arm with 'Mini Acts Mighty Impact' campaign

Auntie Anne’s has shifted the spotlight to its “mini” pretzel items — Mini Pretzel Dogs and Nuggets — for its latest campaign. The brand is asking customers to nominate someone they know who has performed a “Mini Act with a Mighty Impact.” From now through June 14, fans can visit Auntie Anne’s website and submit a nomination. In return, they’ll receive a digital coupon for participating.

The public will then have the opportunity to vote on the top 10 finalists from June 16-30, with the grand prize winner being announced the first week of July. The grand prize winner will receive a $1,000 gift card furnished by American Express and a $1,000 donation will be made to the charity of the nominee’s choice.

In addition, the person who initially nominated the winner will also receive a $250 gift card and a $500 donation to the charity of his/her choice.

“Our guests are always on the move — whether they are shopping or traveling — and are looking for fresh, bite-sized and portable snacks,” CMO Heather Neary said in a news release. “We’re excited to showcase our staple Pretzel Nuggets and Mini Pretzel Dogs products, as well as launch an initiative that highlights the men and women in communities throughout the U.S. who are making a mighty impact every day.”
