Baskin-Robbins introduces gingerbread treat

November 4, 2010

Baskin-Robbins has introduced a yummy new treat fitting for the holidays. The new Premium Churned Light Gingerbread Man Ice Cream is November's flavor of the month, and includes 50 percent less fat and 20 percent fewer calories than regular ice cream.

The ice cream features a gingerbread flavor balanced with a touch of vanilla and cinnamon caramel ribbon. It will be available throughout November, while supplies last.

"Premium Churned Light Gingerbread Man Ice Cream is the perfect late autumn flavor," said Brian O' Mara, Baskin-Robbins vice president of marketing. "The combination of vanilla, cinnamon and caramel flavors are wonderful together or on their own, and the gingerbread flavor makes for a wonderful complement to any holiday dessert."

This newest flavor is part of the Baskin-Robbins BRight Choices Line, which provides healthier options including fat free, dairy free, sugar-free and light options.
