Baskin-Robbins has teamed up with Kraft Foods to support the Feeding America campaign with an objective of donating 25 million meals to those in need.
During October, for every scoop of Baskin-Robbins' Flavor of the Month "Trick-Oreo-Treat" ice cream sold, one meal will be donated to Feeding America. The campaign supports Kraft Foods' Huddle To Fight Hunger fundraiser.
The limited-time only Halloween flavor features vanilla ice cream, Halloween Oreo cookies, and Baby Ruth and Butterfinger candy pieces.
In addition, The Dunkin' Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation is making a donation of 500,000 meals to Feeding America.
"Fighting hunger and helping those is need is important to Baskin-Robbins," said Brian O'Mara, vice president of marketing of Baskin-Robbins. "We are honored to help support the Kraft Foods Huddle to Fight Hunger through the sales of Trick-Oreo-Treat."
