Big Boy hires QSR, pizza finance veteran

Cincinnati-based Frisch's Big Boy Restaurants has hired Diane Reed as executive vice president of finance. The former Bravo Restaurant Group finance vice president and chief accounting officer is a CPA and certified cash manager, who formerly served as controller for Wendy's, Donato's and Victoria's Secret, according to a news release. 

"Diane is an accomplished executive with significant financial and operational expertise in the restaurant industry and will be an exceptional addition to our team," Frisch's CEO Jason Vaughn said. "We have a strong vision for the future of this franchise. We are building a leadership team of experienced restaurant professionals to move the Frisch's Big Boy brand forward."

Reed has also served as vice president for compensation and benefits and CFO of Gates McDonald as part of Nationwide Insurance Companies. Her main areas of responsibility at Frisch's include treasury, SEC and internal reporting, taxes, risk management, strategic planning, lease and fixed-asset management, benefits and equity programs.
