Bojangles appoints new non-exec board chair

Bojangles', Inc. named William A. Kussell as its new non-executive board chairman, assuming the role from James ("Randy") Kibler, who continues on as a director on the board. 
Kussell has served as a director on the board for nearly five years.

Since January 2010, he has been an operating partner and consultant to Bojangles largest stockholder, the private equity firm, Advent International Corporation. Previous to that, Kussell was president and chief brand officer at Dunkin' Donuts and a member of the board for Dunkin' Brands.

Kussell also served as a board member for specialty retailer and café, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, as well as for Extended Stay America and Modell's Sporting Goods. The 39-year-old Bojangles chain currently has 671 restaurants.
