Bojangles' is bringing it on in a much bigger way in North Carolina, which the brand considers to be among its core market areas, a news release said.
Included in the Tar Heel State expansion are three company-operated restaurants, where construction is already under way, including:
"These restaurants in North Carolina are a great example of what we've been saying about how Bojangles' plans to grow in our core markets, while franchising will continue to lead growth in adjacent markets," Senior Vice President of Operations Tony Hopson, said in the release. "
All three locations will feature elements of Bojangles' newest restaurant design, including bold graphics, a variety of seating options to accommodate groups of all sizes, free Wi-Fi, and a redesigned food display area, among other updates.
The chain had 766 system-wide restaurants in early July, of which 441 were franchised stores.
