Charlotte, N.C.-based Bojangles’ Restaurants has significantly expanded its service contract with Windstream Hosted Solutions.
Bojangles’ and Windstream first partnered up in May 2008. The latest agreement includes additional co-location capacity in the Windstream Hosted Solutions SAS-70 Type II certified data center, as well as managed services to support Bojangles’ growth.
Bojangles’ includes nearly 500 stores in 11 states.
"Previously, we managed our core applications that required compliance regulations with Windstream Hosted Solutions but continued to manage our IT environment internally. Given the rate at which our business has grown, we can't afford reliability and performance issues,” said Shad Collins, Bojangles’ senior director of IT. "We need a trusted partner that we can rely on so we can focus on the core business of building and running the best restaurant brand in the Southeast. We have great confidence in the team at Windstream Hosted Solutions."
The Windstream Hosted Solutions data centers are built to a 2N power distribution design standard, which features redundant elements from top to bottom, including generators, utility feeds, main electrical switchboards and more. This provides Bojangles' and all Windstream Hosted Solutions customers with superior uptime and reliability.
Windstream Corp., headquartered in Little Rock, Ark., provides IP-based voice and data services, MPLS networking, data center and managed hosting services and communication systems to business and government agencies.
