Bojangles names operations, training chief

Bojangles', Inc. has named Robert Garcia as vice president of franchise operations, training and development, a role in which he will oversee all franchise support operations, according to a news release. The company said it hired him last year for an unnamed position leading national operations and high priority training and development initiatives.  

The company said Garcia has a diverse professional background that includes assignments in Europe and Latin America, as well as his most recent position outside Bojangles as McDonald's vice president, east division company owned restaurants.

"I am very excited to take on this expanded role with a brand that I have come to appreciate and respect so much," Garcia said in the release.
