Bojangles' rolls out proprietary coffee blend

October 1, 2012

Bojangles' has introduced a new coffee called "BoJo." Specifically blended for Bojangles', BoJo is made from 100-percent Arabica beans, and is a medium roast, premium blend featuring a smooth taste.

"Understanding how important a great cup of coffee is to our customers, we tested a variety of blends for several months before choosing the smooth yet flavorful BoJo," said Mike Bearss, senior vice president of Research and Development. "Bojangles' is proud to offer the perfect complement to any item on our menu with BoJo. We want to be the coffee destination for new customers and our existing loyal fans who want a high-quality cup of coffee."

Bojangles' customers are invited to participate in an interactive online contest called "How Do You Take Your BoJo?" Kicking off today, fans are encouraged to submit a photo and caption of the places they go with their BoJo cup. To enter, visit howdoyoubojo.com.

Submissions in the photo contest will be accepted until Nov. 4, with the participants list being narrowed down to five finalists on Nov. 5. Public voting will take place from Nov. 5 through Nov. 8. On Nov. 9, the winners will be announced.

First place will receive a Bojangles' promotional gift card for $300, second place for $200 and $100 each for third through fifth place winners.
