Bojangles' strengthens auto racing tie with giveaway

Bojangles' is taking its Speedway Motorsports relationship up a gear by giving customers a chance at a VIP day at the Folds of Honor QuikTrip500 on March 15, a news release said. The offering is a further solidification with the brand's identification with NASCAR races at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway, the companies said. 

"Race fans have always been important to Bojangles', and we look forward to shaking and biscuit baking our way through this season with them in Atlanta and Charlotte," Bojangles' CMO Jackie Woodward said in the release. "This giveaway is just the first way we'll use this partnership to invite fans to join us as we (go) Bo racing!"

The winner of the VIP experience will receive four race tickets, "Hot Passes" and Victory lane access, Pace car rides and a swag bag with a $50 Bojangles' gift card. To enter customers must go to the Bojangles' website and the winner will be notified by email on March 9.

The agreement between Bojangles' and Speedway Motorsports is a three-year deal, extending through the 2022 season. Currently, Bojangles' has nearly 750 system-wide restaurants in 11 states.
