Buffalo Wild Wings pilots small, delivery centric brand

Buffalo Wild Wings is piloting a downsized format brand called B-Dubs Express this summer in Minneapolis to capture some of the increasing sales around take-out and at-home dining. The pilot brand features wings, but streamlined with counter service and a sports-heavy atmosphere,  a news release said. 

"With B-Dubs Express, we are excited to deliver on guest feedback and passionately serve up high-quality wings to satisfy cravings even faster," Buffalo Wild Wings Vice President of Market Development Todd Kronebusch said in the news release. "These first two locations in Minnesota will provide a great opportunity for us to test an alternative format and gain learnings as we continue to look for ways to meet the changing needs of today's consumers."

The Express menu features wings, chicken tenders, sandwiches, burgers, salads, Buffalo mac and cheese, shareable items and beer and wine. The brand is partnering with DoorDash for delivery.
