Burger 21 fights breast cancer in October

October 3, 2016

Burger 21 is working to vanquish breast cancer by quenching our thirst this October, according to a press release. With every purchase this month of a fountain drink, shake or float this month, Burger 21 will donate 21 cents to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, according to a news release.

"We are thrilled to partner with National Breast Cancer Foundation and join a cause that fights a disease, which affects 1 in 8 women in the nation," said the chain's founder and President Mark Johnston, in the release. "Every day, Burger 21 serves thousands of families who may have been impacted in some way by breast cancer. We hope that loyal guests and new patrons will visit one of our restaurants this month, order a drink or shake and help contribute to fighting breast cancer."

The chain has been ranked on Fast Casual's Top 100 for four straight years. Johnston was also recognized in Fast Casual's 2014 Top 25 People.
