Burger King 1st fast food chain testing meatless Impossible nuggets

Burger King is the first fast food brand to test meatless nuggets from Impossible Foods.

It's the second collaboration between the two companies as Burger King was the first fast food chain to sell Impossible meatless burgers, according to a CNBC report.

The test effort will launch next week in several markets including Iowa, Boston and Miami.

The move to meatless comes at a time when foodservice operators are having a hard time buying chicken and rising costs with poultry.
