Burger King Canada introduces Chicken Tenders

Burger King Restaurants of Canada Inc. is celebrating the introduction of a four-piece Chicken Tenders package by offering the option for $1.

A nationwide couponing campaign kicks off today at participating restaurants throughout the country. The initiative will distribute more than 2 million $1-coupons by mail to residences across the country.

"With the introduction of the new, great-tasting Chicken Tenders, we are excited to offer this campaign to our customers across Canada," said Cameron Loopstra, senior marketing manager for Burger King Restaurants of Canada Inc. "It is our hope that guests will embrace a new found 'shareability' with family and friends."

With the tagline "Go ahead and share, we'll make more," participating Burger King restaurants are also introducing a 20-piece menu item served up in original packaging designed for sharing.

Chicken Tenders are available in four, six, 10- and 20-piece servings at a suggested retail price of $1, $3.99, $4.99 and $6.99, respectively. Chicken Tenders are served with six dipping sauces --  buffalo, barbecue, zesty, sweet and sour, honey mustard or ranch.
