Burger King ends trial run of plant-based London location

Burger King has ended the trial run of its all-vegan restaurant in Leicester Square in London, according to a report in The Guardian. The fast-foot outlet had been testing the popularity of vegan food for a month, including plant-based versions of its Whopper burger and chicken nuggets.

Though the entire meat-free set-up has ended, the menu will continue to include Vegan Royale, Vegan Nuggets and Plant-based Whopper for the time being.

Burger King plans to be 50% meat-free by 2030.
