Burger King giving away new Satisfries

October 10, 2013

Burger King is celebrating its new Satisfries French fries by offering a free value size order to guests on Oct. 12 and Oct. 13.

The brand's new Satisfries have less fat, calories and sodium than its standard fries. Burger King's standard fries are still available on the menu.

"Many of our guests have already fallen in love with new Satisfries and if you haven't tasted them, you're missing out," said Alex Macedo, president North America, Burger King Worldwide Inc. "We invite our guests to bring family and friends to their local Burger King restaurants over the weekend to taste Satisfries and let us know if they're as satisfied as we are."

Satisfries are made with thinly battered whole potatoes, according to a news release. The recipe, which was in test for about two years, ensures that the French fries absorb less oil.
