Burger King launches plant-based chicken sandwich

Burger King has released a plant-based version of its Original Chicken Sandwich to guests in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Impossible Original Chick'n Sandwich features a plant-based chicken patty topped with shredded lettuce and mayonnaise and served on a toasted sesame seed bun.

Burger King and Impossible Foods have been pioneering plant-based innovation since the launching the Impossible Whopper in 2019 and testing Impossible Nuggets made from plants in 2021.
