The Federación Mexicana de Fútbol (FMF) and Soccer United Marketing (SUM) have partnered with Burger King, naming the fast-food chain as the official quick-service restaurant of the senior Mexican National Teams in the United States, according to a press release.

Burger King will partner with the Mexican National Teams for both the men's MexTour and the women's MexTour W. Fans attending games can expect to see high-visibility Burger King signage in venues, along with special fan experiences. Additionally, the chain will offer a special match-day meal deal designed specifically for MexTour games.

"Few things rival the passion that Burger King has for serving up delicious flame-grilled sandwiches, so we couldn't be more thrilled to be sponsoring the Mexican National Teams and to help fuel its passionate and devoted fans," Pat O'Toole, CMO, Burger King North America, said in the press release. "We look forward to celebrating all of the exciting moments over the next several years alongside the MNT and its fans with delicious gameday offers, special experiences, and much more."

Both the Mexican Men's and Women's National Teams have already played matches across the U.S. this year. MexTour W featured two games earlier in Orlando, Florida, and San Antonio, Texas. The Men's MexTour has seen matches against Bolivia, Uruguay, and Brazil, with upcoming games against New Zealand (Sept. 7) and Canada (Sept. 10).

The MexTour has become a staple for soccer fans in the U.S., averaging nearly 60,000 attendees per game over the past decade. The tour allows the Mexican National Teams to prepare for major competitions while playing against top opponents at world-class venues.

"The Mexican Men's and Women's National Teams are among the icons of the global sport of fútbol, so it's fitting that an iconic brand like Burger King is now a major partner and supporter of the FMF and MexTours," Carter Ladd, Soccer United marketing chief revenue officer, said in the press release. "SUM is extremely proud to have formed this partnership, and we look forward to working with Burger King and the Mexican National Teams throughout this time of unlimited opportunity for our sport in America."

Burger King operates more than 19,000 locations in more than 120 countries and U.S. territories.
