Burger King is expanding the fruitful relationship it has had thus far with Impossible Foods by testing a meat-free pork-tasting product that is designed to go after the breakfast customer. The QSR's new Impossible sausage croissan'wich includes a sausage-tasting meat-free patty with cheese and eggs on a croissant, according to Yahoo News.

For this test, Impossible Foods said the brand is launching the item at units in:

  • Albuquerque, New Mexico.
  • Bakersfield, California.
  • Montgomery, Alabama.
  • Lansing, Michigan.
  • Savannah, Georgia.

The pork-alike product is Impossible Foods' first test of anything other than beef-tasting plant-based products. Further details have not been provided at the time of this writing.
