Burger King to take iconic burger off discount menu, raise prices

Burger King is pulling its most popular burger, the Whopper, off its discount menu and the brand is slated to raise prices to offset rising costs, according to a Reuters report.

The Whopper has "been on the core discount platform for too long," Jose Cil, parent company Restaurant Brands International CEO, told the news outlet.

The brand will also nix sundaes, chocolate milk and whipped toppings from the menu, as they're not big sellers for the company.
