German Burger King customers are likely practicing their head-balancing skills as the brand has – in that country only at this point – introduced its so-called "social distancing crowns" which look a little bit more akin to a sombrero, as seen in the photos the brand shared, according to delish.com.
Burger King is, of course, also the home of the famous paper crowns, but the social distancing crown extend the diameter to 6 feet total meaning if all customers are actually wearing them, they would probably by about 6 feet apart, as required in the U.S.
It's just one of the latest efforts by brands to enforce the government mandates about how close we can sit or stand next to each other without increasing our risk of spreading COVID-19. QSRweb is awaiting response from Burger King as to whether the mega-sized cardboard caps might be heading to the states.
