Captain D's promotes 2 execs to key roles

Captain D's leadership has announced that Janet Duckham and Nancy Ward have been promoted to chief supply chain officer and vice president of training, respectively, according to a news release.

As chief supply chain officer, Duckham leads the chain's worldwide purchasing functions, oversees quality assurance, while managing distribution and logistics. As vice president of training, Ward oversees the chain's training programs and creates internal development programs for the brand's operators.  

Duckham is a 6-year veteran of the chain, who excels in logistics, sourcing, distribution, food quality, safety and pricing, according to the release. Ward joined the brand five years ago as a human resources manager and has developed multiple levels of management training as well as restaurant opening support and numerous video training programs. 

Captain D's closed its fourth successive year of record high system-wide AUV last year, producing its 21st consecutive quarter and sixth consecutive year of positive growth. Additionally, Captain D's experienced a surge of franchise and corporate development, opening 13 locations
