Captain D's signs kids' meal deal with The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Captain D's has signed an exclusive, in-store promotion featuring The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which will coincide with the movie's video release.

From Aug. 18 through Nov. 30, 2014, customers can receive Captain D's 3D KiD's meals, complete with The Amazing Spider-Man 2 3D glasses, 3D graphics fun packs, 3D kids' meal boxes and 3D cups.

"The promotion will energize our fans and introduce new customers to Captain D's. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment chose Captain D's as a partner in its marketing efforts, which validates our brand as a leader in the restaurant industry,” CMO Jonathan Muhtar said in a news release.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be released on Blu-Ray, DVD and digital HD on Aug. 19. Captain D's promotion with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will also include a 15-second TV spot that will air in several of the restaurant chain's markets.
