Checkers & Rally's is expanding its restaurant reimaging initiative across Ohio and Florida as part of the drive-thru brand's broader turnaround strategy.
The company is updating 20 restaurants — seven in Ohio and 13 in Florida — with a refreshed design that includes an updated logo, modern exterior architecture, enhanced lighting, vibrant murals and other new design elements.
"Every restaurant we reimage brings our vision for Checkers & Rally's to life and strengthens the experience we deliver to our guests," CEO Chris Tebben said. "We're investing in our restaurants because we believe every guest deserves a bold, memorable experience from the moment they pull into the drive-thru."
The reimaging program is one component of Checkers & Rally's company-wide transformation, which also includes simplifying restaurant operations, enhancing digital capabilities and refining the guest experience. The company said those efforts are designed to meet changing consumer expectations while supporting sustainable growth and creating long-term value for franchisees.
"Our transformation doesn't stop with new restaurants or new ideas. It continues every time we invest in the communities we already serve," Tebben said.
Checkers & Rally's, which merged into a single concept in 1999, operates primarily through a franchise model. The company is currently targeting expansion in several U.S. markets, including Florida, South Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Las Vegas and portions of Wisconsin.
