Chick-fil-A awards record $26M in scholarships

Chick-fil-A has awarded a record $26.44 million in scholarships to restaurant employees in 2024, the highest amount in the company's history.

More than 14,000 team members across North America received scholarships of $1,000 or $2,500 to help with their education. Additionally, 14 individuals were awarded $25,000 scholarships, including the first ever awarded in Canada, according to a press release.

"Creating greater access to education is one of the best ways Chick-fil-A serves communities," Andrew T. Cathy, CEO of Chick-fil-A Inc., said in the release. Cathy personally surprised 14 team members with their scholarship awards at Chick-fil-A restaurants across North America. "Our long-standing commitment to investing in the future dreams and aspirations of restaurant Team Members remains at the forefront of Chick-fil-A's efforts to have a positive impact on the lives of others."

Chick-fil-A aims to impact the lives of over 50,000 team members through education opportunities by 2025.
