Cava, Chicken Salad Chick, Tazikis, Skyline Chili and Cheba Hut all scored high for price, value and loyalty, winning more praise than complaints in a Merchant Centric performance report.
Merchant Centric, a data analytics and reputation management provider, identified restaurant chains winning and losing guests during rocky financial times and boasts more than 1 billion online guest reviews analyzed to date, according to a press release.
Merchant Centric uses proprietary Theme Performance Scores, a term coined by the company to represent the ratio of positive mentions for a theme (i.e., price/value, loyalty/referral) relative to the negative mentions of the same theme, to calculate guest sentiment about inflation.
A TPS score of 1.0 indicates praise and complaints are equal, while TPS scores of 1.1+ indicate more praise than complaints, and TPS scores of 0.0-0.9 indicate more complaints than praise.
