Church's Chicken has named Pedro Voyer as its new global chief development officer. Voyer's responsibilities include franchising, international and domestic market development, reimaging, construction, facilities and real estate management.
"Pedro has a vast amount of experience in franchising and development in the QSR and multi-unit food retail industry," said Mel Deane, CEO, Church's Chicken. "His proven track record in sustainable growth and collaborative approach toward franchisee community will be instrumental in supporting the brand's future growth strategy."
Voyer joins Church's from Burger King Corporation where he was senior vice president of franchising and development for North America and Canada. In that role, he was responsible for franchising, new store development, reimaging and construction and real estate management for a portfolio spanning more than 7,500 units and supporting 600 active franchisees.
Prior to Burger King, Voyer held various domestic and international development positions at Starbucks Corporation and Yum! Brands.
Voyer holds a mechanical engineering degree from Universidad Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela and a Master of Science/MBA from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan. Voyer is fluent in five languages.
