Church's Chicken plans Ukrainian presence

Texas Chicken, the international brand of Church's Chicken, is planning to open two restaurants in Kyiv, Ukraine, in March.

According to the Kyiv Post, the units will be located in shopping malls in the south and north ends of the capital city. The brand will be represented in the country by a franchisee that currently owns pizza and café chains.

KFC made its debut in Ukraine in December. Other quick-service chains are also planning a presence in the market, including Cinnabon, Wendy's and Dunkin' Donuts.
