Church's promotes 4 to key leadership roles

Church's Chicken is making several changes at the top of the organization, according to a news release.

Chris Ward, promoted earlier this year to the role of vice president of purchasing, has been named senior vice president of global supply chain. Ward is credited with designing and executing a refined supply chain strategy that has saved the company millions of dollars.

Brendan Berg has been named senior vice president of global operations support, an international expansion of his current responsibility overseeing domestic operations that include operational standards, field training, guest recovery and the company's operations excellence review program.

Dan Krieger has been promoted to vice president and controller. In his previous role as senior director and controller, he was responsible for payroll, acquisitions and divestures, and management of domestic and international accounting teams. In his new position, he will provide direct support for Church's entire financial infrastructure.

Harriet Worrell has been promoted to the post of senior director of supply chain. She formerly served as purchasing director with responsibility for strengthening internal and external supply relationships. In her new role, she will work to develop processes that generate value for restaurants and franchisees, and result in superior experiences for guests.

All four appointments are part of a fine-tuning of the Church's brand with a renewed focus on growth, quality and service excellence, the release said.
