Church's promotes purchasing exec to VP of supply chain

Church's Chicken has promoted its senior purchasing director, Chris Ward, to the office of vice president of supply chain, according to a news release.  Ward will now oversee purchasing, distribution and logistics for the company's supply chain. 

"Chris Ward has demonstrated a clear pattern of generating meaningful results," Church's CEO Joe Christina, said in a news release. "From cost savings, to quality assurance, and vendor negotiations, he has repeatedly delivered to the benefit of both the brand and our franchisees."

In addition to his five years with Church's Ward has  30 years of career experience in procurement, supply chain management, and senior leadership at Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen, Shells Seafood, Denny's Restaurants and The Walt Disney Company.
