Church's Texas Chicken is introducing its first-ever Signature Hot Sauce, featuring a blend of habañero peppers, red chilies, roasted garlic and spices, according to a press release.
The sauce was developed by Church's head chefs in collaboration with pepper growers Bobby McFadden and Aurea de Guzman, who were featured on the Hulu series "Superhot: The Spicy World of Pepper People."
"For more than 70 years, Church's has been known for its famous chicken, bold flavors and spices," Joe Guith, CEO of Church's Texas Chicken, said in the release. "We felt it was time to introduce a new dipping sauce that could punch up the level of heat and flavor even more. Our new Signature Hot Sauce is a perfect complement to our craveable, hand-battered chicken that guests crave."
Church's Texas Chicken, alongside its sister brand Texas Chicken, have more than 1,500 locations in 23 countries and global markets and system-wide sales of more than $1.4 billion. The brand is owned by High Bluff Capital Partners and FS Investments.
