Church's Texas Chicken has returned to its signature original recipe for its chicken, according to a press release.
"This is the recipe that started it all, now crafted just for you," Joe Guith, CEO of Church's Texas Chicken, said in the press release. "This return is not only a return to our roots, but also a strategic move to drive our business forward. We're confident that our guests will enjoy our exceptional recipe and iconic flavor, fueling our growth and success."
The brand has been known for its bold flavors and hearty meals for more than 70 years. The recipe includes a deep marinade and a crispy, crunchy hand-battered and double-breaded process.
"Our original recipe captures the bold flavor that made the brand famous," Kevin Houston, head chef at Church's Texas Chicken, added in the press release. "The deep marination and crispy, flaky breading—it's all about flavor!
