Cinnabon K-Cup flavor set to launch this year

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc., parent company of Keurig's single cup brewing system, and Cinnabon Inc. have reached a multiyear agreement to bring Cinnabon bakery-inspired coffee to K-Cup packs for the Keurig system.

The new Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll K-Cup pack is inspired by the company's signature cinnamon rolls. It features a smooth, light-roast coffee blend infused with flavors of Cinnabon cinnamon, brown sugar and frosting. Cinnabon K-Cup packs are set to launch on GMCR websites (Keurig.com and GreenMountainCoffee.com) during the 2013 holiday season.

The product also will be offered to retail and away-from-home channels as well as participating Cinnabon bakery locations by spring 2014.
