CKE Restaurants’ AOR wins small agency award

July 31, 2011

Los Angeles-based David&Goliath was named Small Agency of the Year at Ad Age's awards show last week. The honor is given to a company with between 76 and 150 employees.

D&G was selected based on account wins, agency management, creative excellence and strategy.

D&G picked up the CKE Carl's Jr./Hardee's account in January. Since, the agency has created an ad featuring Miss Turkey from the Miss Universe contest to launch the companies' new line of turkey burgers and, most recently, "Robot," to introduce the new Hand-Breaded Chicken Fillet Sandwich.

Ad Age recognized D&G for its Kia ads that ran during the Super Bowl.

The award was accepted by David Angelo, founder and chief creative officer at David&Goliath. Judges sorted through hundreds of entries from the U.S., Canada and 20 other countries.
