Culver's drops Sysco for Gordon Food Service

Culver's is reportedly switching its food supplier entirely to Gordon Food Service. The Wisconsin-based chain had also used Sysco for about 60 percent of its system.

According to Baraboo News Republic, Culver's has also partnered with GFS for 10 years.

The company said, although it was a difficult decision to let go of Sysco, GFS "provides the best distribution agreement for the Culver's system as a whole."

Gordon Food Service has added a shift at its Kenosha, Wisconsin, distribution center in anticipation of growth in this area, the story said.
