Wisconsin-based Culver's is bringing back its social media-based series honoring the nation's farmers for the fourth year, this April 26. Through its #FarmingFridays the brand showcases individual farmers and their operations on the chain's Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat accounts, a news release said.
Between now and late October, Culver's will highlights the stories behind the people that produce our food, including:
"We feel it's important to celebrate and support the hard work that goes into providing our country with food," Culver's Senior Marketing Manager Jessie Kreke, said in the release. "By shining a light on the different roles that exist in agriculture, we're hoping to ignite a passion in our guests for supporting agricultural education, too."
#FarmingFridays is part of Culver's Thank You Farmers Project that supports agricultural education programs that promote smart farming. To date, the chain and its guests have donated over $2 million to agricultural education efforts through its 700 stores in 25 states.
