Culver's hosting crew challenge throughout the year

April 23, 2013

The Culver's restaurant chain is currently hosting its Crew Challenge, a competition among restaurants in which performances will be evaluated in the areas of quality, service, cleanliness, hospitality, community outreach and team member training and development.

"This is a competition to strive for excellence in the things we do quite well every day," said Phil Keiser, president and chief operating officer. "The best part about this is that our guests will benefit because they ultimately will be getting the best Culver's experience."

The competition includes prize money with $50,000 going to the first place restaurant. The three runner-up teams will receive $10,000 each. The winners will be announced at Culver's annual convention in February 2014.

During the year, regional finalists, regional champions and divisional champions will be announced from the pool of 472 restaurants eligible to participate.

The evaluation of restaurants and team members will come from the Culver's third party support team, which measures guest satisfaction as well as input from secret shoppers.
