Culver's raises $100K for veterans group

May 24, 2013

Culver's restaurants in Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan have raised more than $100,000 for the Honor Flight Network, a nonprofit group created to transport America's veterans to Washington, D.C., to visit their war memorials.

A fundraising event was held at 162 restaurants on May 21, in which 10 percent of sales went to six separate hubs of the Honor Flight Network.

"I'm so happy for our war veterans who will benefit from this fundraising event," said Craig Culver, CEO and co-founder. "I want to thank all of our guests who supported Culver's in this effort, our franchise partners who made it happen in our restaurants and of course all those involved with the Honor Flight Network."

The Honor Flight Network gives top priority to senior Veterans such as World War II and Korean War survivors and those terminally ill who fought in later conflicts.
