Dairy Queen extends value platform to Orange Julius line

Continuing its focus on value, the Dairy Queen system announced a $1.49 special offer for its fruit-blended beverages including Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies, Light Smoothies and the Julius Originals. The offer is valid for any 12-ounce Orange Julius beverage and runs through Aug. 25 at participating locations.

"Orange Julius beverages are not only a terrific way for our fans to cool off this summer, they also are perfect as an on-the-go snack or paired with any of our irresistible meals," said Barry Westrum, executive vice president of Marketing for DQ. "At $1.49, the 12-ounce size is a real value for such a premium product."

Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies, Light Smoothies and Julius Originals are now available in more than 4,000 Dairy Queen locations in the U.S. and Canada.

The $1.49 Orange Julius promotion is supported by national advertising.

International Dairy Queen Inc. acquired the Orange Julius concept in 1987.
