Dairy Queen serving up digital menu boards

Minneapolis-based American Dairy Queen Corp. has named Dayton, Ohio-based digital signage solution provider STRATACACHE as an approved feature panel/digital menu board software provider, according to an announcement today from STRATACACHE.

To spice up Dairy Queen static menu boards, STRATACACHE's ActiVia for Media software was chosen to power digital feature panels across 300 Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill restaurant locations.

The 46-inch, thin-bezel LCD feature panel serves up a rich selection of dynamic content and playsDQ digital menu boardhigh-definition product videos to increase options for monthly promotions, to direct sales to higher margin items and to increase product awareness. The company's ActiVia for Media digital signage software drives the content for the digital signage displays.

"During our transition to digital merchandising, STRATACACHE has been a true asset," said Janna Rider, director of digital merchandising for ADQ. "We are excited to make this move and we really appreciate the expertise and experience STRATACACHE brings to the table."

ADQ chose STRATACACHE's managed solution offering, allowing all content to be designed and managed by ADQ and all installation and maintenance to be carried out by STRATACACHE. Technical support also is available, ensuring Dairy Queen operators a hands-free experience with digital signage.
