Del Taco brings back Free Wednesdays promotion

Del Taco's Free Wednesdays promotion in May resonated so strongly with guests, the brand is bringing it back.

On Aug. 28, Sept. 4 and Sept. 11, guests will receive an item of their choice from the Buck & Under Menu free with any purchase at participating locations. The promotion runs from 3 to 9 p.m. on those days.

"We saw tremendous excitement when we launched free Wednesdays earlier this year," said John Cappasola, executive vice president and chief brand officer at Del Taco. "Free Wednesdays provide existing Del Taco fans a chance to explore new items, and for new guests, it is an opportunity for us to introduce our fresh, high-quality menu items and convert them into fans."

With 11 items priced starting at 50 cents, the Buck & Under Menu includes: Mini Cheddar Quesadilla, Value Bean & Cheese Burrito, Regular Taco, Mini Bacon Quesadilla, Jacked Up Value Bean, Rice & Cheese Burrito, Crunchy Chipotle Beef Taco, Grilled Chicken Taco, Half-Pound Bean & Cheese Burrito, Double Beef Classic Taco, Strawberry Lemonade and 30-ounce Brewed Iced Tea.
