Del Taco as announced a partnership with PeopleMatter to provide the chain with its cloud-based Applicant Tracking and Onboarding HIRE system as well as a Learning Management System, LEARN.
The new HIRE system will be available soon for its more than 300 company restaurants nationwide while the LEARN component will be made available to company stores and franchise partners.
According to a news release, Del Taco will use the PeopleMatter platform to provide a hiring and training program for all team members, from the online application through the continuous training.
"We consistently ask ourselves how we can best support our restaurants, our employees and our franchisees," David Snyder, Del Taco's VP of IT, said in a news release. "The answer is simple, invest in our people. With this new technology, our managers can quickly hire the best people and train them to be successful."
The PeopleMatter Platform is accessible online and via mobile technology applications. Through the platform, people interested in becoming part of the Del Taco team can search for available positions, apply directly from their mobile app and complete their onboarding tasks electronically once hired.
Additionally, automated applicant sourcing and tracking tools give hiring managers visibility into their applicant pipeline. I-9 verification built into the hiring workflows and electronic interfaces with Del Taco's internal systems for new hires ensures companywide compliance, the release said.
