Del Taco has partnered with the Jennie-O brand to develop a ground turkey recipe using a proprietary blend of spices. The turkey will be available at participating restaurants starting today.
According to a news release, the turkey has 33-percent less fat than Del Taco's seasoned beef. The brand initially introduced turkey to its menu in January 2014.
Its turkey lineup with Jennie-O includes:
"Our guests expect great tasting food made to order with fresh ingredients, and partnering with the Jennie-O brand further demonstrates our commitment to providing high quality menu items without sacrificing flavor," Chief Brand Officer John Cappasola said in a news release.
