Del Taco's expands buck-and-under menu ... and they mean it

Del Taco is promising its customers a value offering that lives up to the name with its new Buck and Under Menu, a news release said. Beginning Dec. 28, the expanded offerings will include more 69 cent and 89 cent items, in addition to those priced at $1.

The brand is offering more than 15 items priced at less than a dollar — everything from snacks to all three daily meals at most locations, according to chief marketing officer Barry Westrum. The menu includes a $1 Salsa Chicken Taco and a 69 cent Mini Cheddar Quesadilla.

"In a world of $1, $2 and $3 menus, you won’t be able to find a better deal than at Del Taco," Westrum said in the release.
