Delphi Display Systems Inc. has introduced its latest model Order Confirmation display technology, called Endura, for improving order accuracy and speed-of-service at quick-service restaurant drive-thrus.
Endura features a 15-inch LCD with a proprietary LED backlight system that is designed to last for 70,000 hours MTTH (Mean Time to Half-brightness) – representing eight years of continuous operation. According to the company, this is the longest life backlight on the market today and 40 percent greater than the industry standard.
In addition, the electronics and packaging have been redesigned to further improve reliability over ambient temperatures from -40°F to +140°F (-40°C to +60°C). Delphi's Endura product line comes with a standard 5-year warranty including Advanced Exchange service and free technical support.
Endura has a new, contemporary look, with an all-glass front window and black glass bezel, comparable to a tablet computer display. As a complementary offering, Delphi also is introducing a completely redesigned speaker post. The new post is streamlined and angled, which improves both the display's aesthetics and functionality.
"We are extremely proud and excited to introduce the new Endura product line," said Ken Neeld, president and CEO of Delphi Display Systems. "Not only has Delphi established a new industry standard for reliability, we have revolutionized the design of the display and our speaker post. With these new products, our clients will benefit from a lower total cost of ownership and a spectacular look that will improve the look and effectiveness of their drive-thru."
There are two versions of Endura available.
