Detroit's exceptional families are about to get a Dunkin' Donuts-influenced boost. The chain, known for its coffee and donuts, is partnering up with the Detroit Auto Dealers Association (DADA) to provide a donation for the Oakwood Center for Exceptional Families (CEF).
The donation will be generated by a promotion in which customers 18 and older can pick up a free travel coffee mug at one of the more than 200 participating DADA dealerships in southeast Michigan. Customers who then take their mug to any participating Metro Detroit Dunkin' Donuts will get unlimited refills of coffee for just 99 cents.
Mugs with the same unlimited 99 cent refill offer can also be purchased at Dunkin' Donuts locations for $3.99 through November, or while supplies last. For each mug purchased at a Dunkin' Donuts unit, $1 will be donated to the CEF. The DADA will also contribute funds to the CEF upon conclusion of the promotion.
The promotion runs through the end of the 2011 North American International Auto Show, Jan. 23, 2011.
The CEF serves families with special needs children throughout southeastern Michigan.
